They are current Australian Design Mark holders and were the first to be awarded the Design Mark in 1993. The products were voted the ìbest of the bestî and was awarded the Australian Design Award iin 1994. They feature on page 53 of the 1998 Australian Design Award Directory.

Prior to each award being won, these products were subjected to scrutiny by an independant panel of experts who had to be satisfied that the products met the requirements of continuing high standards, quality, design and performance, as well as new improvements and innovations.
